Brijendra Rochan Joshi is an IT and management professional with over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. As Co-founder and CEO of Rooster Logic, a data-driven ICT company, he spearheads efforts to turn data into actionable insights for private, public, and development sectors. Rooster Logic specializes in designing custom tools and consultancy services, enabling organizations to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and maximize ROI through strategic solutions.
He is also the Co-founder of the Nepal Entrepreneurs’ Hub (NEHUB), an initiative dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in Nepal. NEHUB has been instrumental in organizing Techstars Startup Weekends, mentoring startups, and hosting boot camps that empower entrepreneurs to navigate the challenges of launching and growing businesses.
Hempal Shrestha, an Interdisciplinary Consulting Researcher with over 20 years of experience specializing in IT strategy, business process facilitation, knowledge management, and laws related to intellectual property rights (IPR). Currently, he is consulting with multiple organizations at national and international levels across different verticals, including IT products, software, and service sector; research and academic institutions; and government and non-governmental organizations.
Ravi Phuyal is a Serial Entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology, education, and entrepreneurship in Nepal. He is the Director of Innovate Nepal Group, an investment and holding company that runs internationally acclaimed qualifications in Nepal through its growing and expanding affiliates; Islington College, Herald College, Maryland College Biratnagar, Informatics College Pokhara and Ithari international College, Ithari. Ravi also leads on tech and innovation agenda of Local Interventions Group, an award winning civic innovation non-profit with its presence in London, England and Kathmandu, Nepal – innovating on cutting edge GIS and crowdsourcing platforms across policy sectors.
Suman Shakya is an entrepreneur, certified trainer, and small business consultant with over 25 years of experience. Since 1995, he has actively participated in over ten entrepreneurial ventures and has contributed as an adjunct faculty member in marketing and strategy.
He is the Founder of Tangent Waves and Co-Founder of Nepal Entrepreneurs’ Hub. Suman has also served as District 41 Director of Toastmasters International (2023-24). His consulting work includes projects with the World Bank and USAID’s Tayar Nepal, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and private sector engagement.
Deepa Shakya, with over 15 years of experience working in private sector development, gender equality and social inclusion, and women’s economic empowerment, in Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, is currently based in the US. She is currently working in a US based international humanitarian organization as a global gender equality and social inclusion advisor.. Though she is far from homeland (Nepal), she find ways to continue to stay engaged with her network back home to contribute to the development of entrepreneurial and social work ecosystem. During her free time, she loves to volunteer, read, and catch up on trending series. She loves being around people who inspire her in a small and big way.
